ACI – Financial Markets Association in its educational section covers specialized topics in the field of foreign exchange market, money market, repo transactions, risk management and the like, which offer excellent preparation for taking the exams:
The certificates are issued by ACI – International Financial Markets Association and are recognized internationally.
The following is a brief explanation of the certificates, the method of taking the exam, the ELAC platform as well as more useful links that will help you in your learning. Of course, you can contact our Education Commissioner for all questions.
Certificates
ACI Dealing Certificate
The ACI Dealing certificate is part of a program that allows candidates to gain a certain knowledge of working in the financial markets, to understand the basics of mathematics used in these markets and the basic products (derivatives, forwards, futures, cash management).·
The course is designed for the following groups:
- New employees in this sector, and junior dealers (experience of 0-18 months)·
- Middle office employees
- Auditors and employees in regulatory compliance control services

There is almost no transaction that can be carried out without the presence of the back office service. Back office employees provide full support to dealers in executing transactions on the financial markets, taking care of the timely direction of cash flows as well as checking and providing the necessary documentation so that a transaction can be finalized.
The certificate provides specific knowledge in the area of supporting operations performed by the dealer team, and strives to help facilitate cooperation with supervisory bodies. The exam helps the candidate to stay up to date with all developments and changes that affect the operation of the sector. This will make it much easier for candidates to understand the entirety of the operation process from both the front office and back office activities.
The course is designed for the following groups:
- Back office employees with at least 2 years of work experience and for more experienced associates.
- Other departments supporting the trading sector
- Internal and external audit
- Control and compliance officers
- Risk management sector
ACI Operations Certificate
The ACI Diploma is a type of upgrade for those who already hold one of the Dealing or Operations certificates, and it is designed to provide candidates with complete theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of foreign exchange, money markets, derivatives, as well as the links between the aforementioned markets. Candidates are expected to have a solid knowledge of the basic subject disciplines and to have a solid knowledge of financial mathematics before deciding to master the material required for obtaining the ACI Diploma.
The course is designed for the following groups:
- More experienced dealers in the foreign exchange and money market
- Individuals with many years of experience in the back office service
Important:
In addition to the recommendation to have passed one of the Dealing or Operations exams, there is no requirement to have passed one of the two exams in order to apply for the ACI Diploma. The recommendation to have passed one of the aforementioned exams is to ensure that you do not have difficulty mastering the ACI Diploma material.
Exam:
During the testing, the candidate will have to answer 107 questions within three hours.·
The questions will be from the following areas:
- foreign exchange market
- money market
- derivatives
- market analysis·
- risk management
