Our main goal is operational support in the development of financial markets in the Republic of Macedonia through the professional unification of financial traders from banks and other financial institutions.
Since 1995 we have been a member of ACI The Financial Markets Association, headquartered in Paris. Our members act in their work according to the Code of Conduct, which is in line with the ACI FMA Code of Conduct.
Members of the Association
ACI Macedonia – Financial Markets Association has 134 members from 14 banks in the Republic of Macedonia, including the National Bank.
According to the Statute, the members of the Association can be regular, associate and honorary.
The Association maintains a register of members. The form and content of which, as well as the manner of its maintenance, are decided by the Executive Board.
Education
ACI FMA offers a suite of specialized exams aimed at education on foreign exchange trading, fixed income, money markets, derivatives, repos, assets and liabilities, risk management, and professional conduct for front, back, and middle office employees.
All ACI FMA exams are in English and are computer-based.
The dynamic conditions of the functioning of financial markets, characterized by frequent changes and upgrades, require qualified personnel with high knowledge of both local and global financial markets.
The ACI education program offers certification with globally recognized certificates, which are synonymous for quality and aim to improve career opportunities, and certainly increase work performance. The association is in close cooperation with regulatory bodies in a number of countries in order for ACI education to be in accordance with regulatory requirements and market standards.

31. General Assembly of ACI Macedonia
After many years, this year again we are organizing the regular annual meeting of ACI Macedonia in Krusevo, the hometown of Tose Proeski and Nikola Martinovski, a city rich in historical landmarks, but also delicious traditional Macedonian food.
In addition to the official part of the program, from April 24th to 26th, 2026 you will be able to visit the Makedonium monument, Meckin Kamen, the Tose Proeski Memorial House and enjoy the untouched nature of the Krusevo region.
Financial instruments
In addition to foreign exchange trading, local banks are enriching the range of products for trading with clients, including repo transactions, forward contracts, and interest rate swaps.
